Lauralee is a 6,000 mile plus Appalachian Trail Hiker, completing and sectioning both north and south. She has also hiked all the trails in Shenandoah National Park, the Foothills Trail, the Long Trail, the Allegheny Trail, and is currently hiking the Florida Trail. She served six years as the ridgerunner along the AT in Maryland and five years in Shenandoah National Park. The list of speaking credentials includes Scout groups, school groups, library events, REI stores, PATC, ATC, ALDHA, and the National Park Service. She is the author of Mountains, Madness, and Miracles - 4000 Miles Along the Appalachian Trail.
